FAQ
Repair Services
Which devices do you repair?
We specialize in Apple devices — iPhones and iPads across all models.
What’s included in a repair service?
Every repair includes our current weekly special pricing and is backed by our Lifetime Warranty on the workmanship and the parts we install.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed in about 25–30 minutes, unless your technician advises that yours needs longer.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome, though we can’t guarantee a fast turnaround without a booking. For the quickest service, schedule an appointment on our website or call (818) 639-3009.
Can I mail my device in for repair?
Yes — you can mail in your device for any service we list. Please complete a mail-in form, include tracking, and contact us before sending it. If your device isn’t listed or you have questions, reach out to our technicians first.
Can I watch my repair being done?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to observe the repair during your visit.
Can I supply my own parts for the repair?
We carry out repairs using our own inventory only and don’t fit customer-supplied parts. This lets us guarantee quality and back every repair with our warranty.
Do you repair phone accessories?
Our repair services cover iPhones and iPads themselves, not their accessories. (You’ll find a wide range of accessories available to buy in our store.)
Do you install screen protectors?
We install screen protectors purchased from us free of charge. Unfortunately, we’re unable to install protectors brought in from elsewhere.
Do you offer jailbreaking or other software services?
No. We don’t provide software-related services, including jailbreaking.
Do you offer data recovery?
Yes — we offer data recovery for both working and damaged devices, and can often retrieve contacts, messages, photos, notes and more. Recovery can’t always be guaranteed, and a service charge applies only if we successfully retrieve your data.
Do you offer same-day iPhone repair?
Yes. Most repairs are finished the same day, and the majority are done in about 25–30 minutes while you wait. Water damage is the one exception — those take 24–72 hours. Booking ahead is the surest way to be in and out fast: get an instant quote and pick a time.
Do you repair iPads too, and how much does it cost?
Yes — we repair all iPad models. iPad screen repairs run $69–$459 for our premium quality screens and $129–$859 for Genuine Apple OEM, depending on model; iPad batteries are $79–$229. iPad repairs are usually a multi-day service rather than same-day, because the display has to be fully re-bonded and cured. Check your exact iPad price here.
Can I replace my iPhone screen myself?
You can, but it is a lot less forgiving than the videos make it look — Face ID and True Tone are commonly lost in the process, and newer iPhones pair certain parts to the logic board. If you want to try, we sell replacement screens and batteries for most models. And if a DIY attempt goes wrong, bring it in — we finish failed self-repairs regularly.
What services do you offer besides repairs?
Quite a few. We do a Deep Clean & Sanitize from $20 (speaker grilles, charging port, housing), Data Transfer to a new device for $25, tempered glass screen protector installation from $15, and a free battery diagnostic that shows you your real capacity numbers. See deep cleaning and free battery diagnostic.
Diagnostics & Pricing
How much does an iPhone screen repair cost?
iPhone screen repairs start at $45 and run up to $489, depending on your model and which screen you choose. We carry four tiers so you are not forced into one price: Budget Aftermarket LCD, Premium Aftermarket OLED ($89–$269), Original Quality OLED ($109–$419), and Genuine Apple OEM ($209–$489). Enter your model on our instant quote tool for an exact price in about ten seconds — no email required. More detail on our screen repair page.
How much does it cost to replace an iPhone battery?
Premium aftermarket iPhone batteries run $39–$99; Genuine Apple OEM batteries are $109–$129, depending on model. iPad batteries are $79–$229. Every battery replacement takes about 25–30 minutes and is backed by our Lifetime Warranty. See battery pricing and book a free diagnostic.
Is it worth fixing a cracked iPhone screen?
Almost always, yes — a screen repair typically costs a fraction of replacing the phone. A crack also gets worse on its own: glass dust works into the digitizer, touch starts dropping out, and the display loses its water seal. If you are genuinely on the fence, bring it in. Diagnostics are free and we will give you an honest answer about whether your device is worth repairing.
Where is the cheapest place to get an iPhone screen fixed — and do you price match?
Our budget LCD is our lowest-cost screen and starts at $45. We would rather be honest than be the cheapest quote in town: the rock-bottom screens on the market are usually dim, low-touch-accuracy LCDs that fail within months. Every screen we fit — including the budget tier — carries our Lifetime Warranty, which most low-price shops do not offer. If you have a written quote from another local shop, show us and we will do our best on price.
Do you charge for diagnostics?
Most diagnostics are free of charge. Please book an appointment before visiting.
Does the repair price include tax?
Prices quoted online or by phone don’t include sales tax. Sales tax applies only to the components used in your repair.
Do you offer discounts for multiple repairs?
Often, yes — when repairs share overlapping labor, we can usually offer a meaningful discount. Ask our technicians for a combined quote.
How can I tell if my LCD screen is damaged?
A damaged LCD usually shows tell-tale signs: colored stripes, black spots, color bleeding, yellow dots, or general discoloration in the image.
Parts Quality & Your Apple Warranty
Do you use genuine Apple parts?
Yes — for most models we offer Genuine Apple OEM screens and batteries alongside our premium aftermarket options, and we tell you exactly which part is going into your device before we start. See our Genuine Apple Parts page for what is available for your model.
Will a repair here void my Apple warranty or AppleCare+?
An independent repair does not automatically void your Apple warranty. Apple can decline coverage on a part that a repair actually affected, but unrelated coverage stays intact. If your device is still in warranty or covered by AppleCare+, we will tell you — sometimes going to Apple is genuinely the better call, and we would rather give you the right advice than the sale.
Will my iPhone show an “Unknown Part” or “Non-Genuine Part” message after a repair?
On newer iPhones, Apple pairs certain components to the logic board, so a non-Apple screen or battery can put a service notice in Settings. It does not affect how the repair works or how long it lasts. If you want to avoid that message entirely, choose our Genuine Apple OEM option — we will walk you through the trade-offs before we start.
Will Face ID and True Tone still work after a screen replacement?
Yes. Face ID is not part of the display assembly, and we transfer the original components needed to keep it working — that transfer is exactly what most DIY and rush repairs get wrong. True Tone is preserved on the screen tiers that support it; ask your technician which tier keeps it on your model.
Is my iPhone still water resistant after a repair?
Apple’s water-resistance rating applies to a factory-sealed device and degrades with age whether or not it has ever been opened. We reseal with fresh adhesive on every screen and back glass repair, but no independent shop — or Apple — can restore the original IP rating. Treat any repaired phone as splash-resistant, not swim-proof.
Battery Replacement
At what battery health should I replace my iPhone battery?
Apple considers a battery worn out at 80% capacity, but most people notice it well before that — sudden shutdowns, dropping from 40% straight to dead, or the phone throttling and feeling slow. Our battery diagnostic is free: bring it in and we will show you the actual cycle count and capacity numbers before you decide.
Will my battery health show 100% after a replacement?
With a Genuine Apple OEM battery, yes. Premium aftermarket batteries perform to spec but may show a service message instead of a health percentage, because Apple pairs the original battery to the logic board. We tell you which behavior to expect before you choose a tier.
Will I lose my photos or data when you replace my battery?
No. A battery replacement does not touch your storage, and your device comes back exactly as you handed it over. We still recommend backing up before any repair as a precaution.
How long should an iPhone battery last before it needs replacing?
Typically two to three years, or roughly 500 full charge cycles, before capacity drops below 80%. Heavy fast-charging, gaming, and heat all shorten that.
Water Damage
Can a water-damaged iPhone actually be fixed?
Often, yes — including devices that will not power on at all. Our Device Dehydration service ($39) draws moisture and corrosion out of the logic board before it spreads. Success depends on how fast you get it to us and what the liquid was: salt water, pool water and sugary drinks do the most damage, and corrosion keeps eating the board every hour the device sits wet.
Does rice work? What should I not do?
Rice does not work, and Apple specifically advises against it. Do not charge it, do not power it on to “check”, do not use a hair dryer or put it on a heater, and do not put it in rice — all of those either push liquid further in or cause a short. Power it off if it is still on, and get it to us the same day if you can.
How much does water damage repair cost?
Diagnostics are free and our Device Dehydration and cleaning service is $39. If a component still needs replacing after cleaning, we quote that separately and you approve it before we do anything. Note that water-damaged devices are the one exception to our Lifetime Warranty.
What should I do with a water-damaged device?
Don’t power it on. Bring it to us the same or next day if you can. If you can’t reach us quickly, try to dry the device out, then bring or mail it in as soon as possible.
How long does water damage repair take?
Water damage repairs typically take 24–72 hours, depending on the extent of the damage to the logic board and other components.
Your Data & Device
Is there a risk of data loss during repair?
Our repairs address hardware and shouldn’t affect your software, but we can’t be held responsible for data loss — please back up your device before your appointment.
Do I need to share my passcode?
We need your Lock Screen passcode to run pre- and post-repair inspections. If you prefer, you can keep it private and enter it yourself before and after testing.
Repair Warranty
Are my repairs covered by warranty?
Yes — repairs are covered by our Lifetime Warranty, with one exception: devices with prior water damage aren’t covered.
Does the warranty cover screen cracks later on?
No. The warranty doesn’t cover accidental or physical damage. We do, however, offer discounts on repeat repairs.
Orders & Shipping
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we email you a tracking number and a link to follow its journey to your door. You can also view tracking details any time by logging into your account and opening your order history.
Can I change or cancel my order after checkout?
We pack and dispatch orders quickly, so please reach out as soon as possible. If your order hasn’t left our warehouse yet, we’ll do our best to update the address, swap an item, or cancel it. Once it’s on its way, we’re unable to make changes.
My order is taking longer than expected — what should I do?
First, check the tracking link in your shipping email for the latest status, as carrier delays can occasionally happen. If the tracking hasn’t moved or something looks off, contact us with your order number and we’ll chase it up for you.
Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal — so you can check out whichever way is easiest for you.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Checkout is fully encrypted and processed through Shopify’s PCI-DSS compliant payment system. Your card details are handled securely by the payment provider — we never see or store your full card information.
When will my card be charged?
Payment is taken at the time you place your order. This confirms your purchase and lets us begin preparing it for shipment right away.
Do you add any extra transaction fees?
No. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — there are no hidden surcharges or transaction fees. Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are shown clearly before you confirm your order.
Product Returns & Warranty
The following applies to parts and accessories purchased from our online store. Repair work is covered separately under our Repair Warranty above.
Can I return a product if I simply change my mind?
Because our products are electronic parts and accessories, we’re unable to accept change-of-mind returns. We do, of course, stand behind every item if it arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect — see the warranty details below.
What warranty comes with parts and accessories?
Every product is covered by a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date you receive it. If an item stops working as it should within that period due to a fault, we’ll repair, replace, or refund it.
How do I make a product warranty claim?
Contact us within the 90-day window with your order number and a short description of the issue (photos or a short video help us a lot). Once we confirm the fault, we’ll guide you through the next steps — no complicated paperwork.
Who pays for return shipping?
If a product is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we cover the cost of returning it. Original shipping charges are non-refundable on non-faulty items.
How long do refunds or replacements take?
Once we receive your returned item and confirm the fault, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method. Approved replacements are sent out as soon as your claim is confirmed.
