Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done

  • Audited our key pages and our online booking flow with automated accessibility tools (Lighthouse and axe-core) and fixed the issues they found, including color contrast, form labels, and screen-reader announcements.
  • Made our appointment booking flow fully operable by keyboard, with clear focus indicators and step-change announcements for screen readers.
  • Committed to checking new pages and features against the same standard before publishing them.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site regularly and continue to improve it as guidelines and technology evolve.
